Nice work, although I gotta admit i prefer your older pieces. You have very strong technical skill, but I don't see why you put so much effort to make something look like a photograph. Thats what photographers are for

slickgreekgeo - you mean the fantasy art? well i stopped painting for a long time so i could reorganize my thinking. this series is about meditation, its actually rather relaxing. besides, 10 hours - thats a speed painting for allot of people, i don't consider it much effort.

oof. that is niiiice. i vote for paint by hand, even if that's an paint over which im guessing it just means painting over an image itself... it takes some pretty f'ing dexterity/skill/talent to build up layers of colors to make skin look that good. look at those eyessss!! 7/7

I appreciate the Veristic style of this portrait; not many is done in this style nowadays....we're all becoming like Sargent; idealising, smoothing out this and there to make them flattering

now your technical skilll is excellent, go make your own art(I mean, as opposed to photo-copying), go you!
